Both the pilot and the passenger survived with minor injuries after single-engine plane made an emergency landing near Gypsum on Oct. 25 and ended up upside down in a field. According to the pilot, he was attempting to land the Cessna Centurion the Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) when he lost power. Gypsum Fire Protection District, Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, Eagle County Paramedics, Eagle County Regional Airport and the Vail Public Safety and Communications Center responded to the incident.
