Compassion Fest presents the movie Wonder
April 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pmdonation
The second annual Compassion Fest (film festival, fair, and symposium) is presenting a screening of the movie Wonder one night only at The Community Hall in the Third Street Center in Carbondale on Thursday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. The film is offered on a donation basis as a fundraiser for the 2019 Compassion Fest taking place August 9-11, also at the Third Street Center.
Wonder is the inspirational, family friendly story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences, and his experiences as he attends a mainstream elementary school for the first time as a fifth grader. The film stars Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, and Jacob Tremblay as August.
Everyone is encouraged to come early and bring friends and family for an evening of compassion, laughter, and life lessons. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and there will be snacks for sale!
