Marble Museum Winter Open House

The Marble Museum will hold a Winter Open House on Saturday Feb. 23 from 12 to 4, with free admission, hot drinks and baked goods. There will be talks with four local historians : Bob Raymond talks mining history at 12,. Darrell Munsell with his latest book, Protecting a Valley and Saving a River speaks at 1 pm, Charlotte Graham , author of Up the Crystal, Vol.I &II will be presenting at 2 pm. Larry Rynearson, author of Colorado’s Historic Mountain Passes and Legends of Glenwood Canyon will conclude the program at 3. Sculptors Rex and Vickie Branson will show works and demonstrate wood carving from 12 to 4, with blank blocks of wood available to the public for participation. Located in the historic Marble High School building on 412 W. Main St., Marble next to the Charter School.
