Mobility & Stability for Healthy Hips: Myofascial Workshop

Healthy movement is critical for healthy hips. Sports, aging and daily use can all wear down the cartilage in the hip sockets and place undue stress on the muscles, tendons and connective tissues, creating dysfunction, arthritis and even pain. We will focus on creating a balance of strength, flexibility and recovery for the hips with gentle Yin yoga poses and Myofascial Release with therapy balls. This practice is a valuable tool for hip longevity and an effective compliment to biking, hiking, skiing or yoga. All props provided.
Bio: Lindsay Herlinger loves teaching the Art of Relaxation, helping other decrease stress, and deeply heal their bodies. She’s passionate about teaching Yin Yoga, Myofascial Release, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. Her classes reflect her therapeutic and anatomical training from Yoga Medicine and philosophical training from Para Yoga. She’s a RYT-500HR certified yoga instructor.
